New Bunk Beds in Sydnies room.

Sydnie has been wanting bunk beds for a long time! I finally decide with this being a long and narrow room bunk beds may actually be a good idea, to save space, make more room to play with friends and great for sleepovers.
I love this cute view of it all from her mirror. I always get questions about the “hello” sign and it’s several years old from Michaels so no longer available unfortunately.

This doll house is Sydnies favorite, she plays with it for hours. It’s 5ft tall, has the cutest pink wallpaper and accessories. When I was her age I would have wanted it too! It can get messy fast in the small room though so at the end of the day I have these bin HERE that I have her throw everything she played with that day in the bin and slide under her bed so she can easily get it out the next day and start again. (All the other toys we keep in the closet under the stairs and she switches things out)

This desk has been perfect for homework, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I bought this original desk and spray painted it pink and white. It was such an easy DIY!

The cute hooks were a Homegoods find. When creating a space, finding things you truly love is key. I try to stay away from just adding a bunch of “things” or else it gets cluttered looking quickly. I would rather leave a space empty until I find something I love and goes well with the space. Also organization is key in a small space otherwise you will constantly feel defeated that it’s always messy. Kids love to play and pull everything out and that truly brings me joy to see the kids using their imagination and playing all day! Just make it easy for them to pick it up quickly at the end of the day and make it a habit each night before bed. Clean up, bath, brush teeth, get in bed, read a book say your prayers and repeat again tomorrow.
