My Son’s Room Makeover
October 5, 2022
I completed and decorated my sons room, just in time for October. We moved in our new house the last weekend in June. This room had nothing in it and was just waiting to be painted and decorated. (See the before photo below)

I chose to do a half wall, first painting the upper half “Chantilly Lace” by Benjamin More. Then after that was dry. I tapped off for my lower half, creating a straight line around the entire room. I painted the lower half “Limousine leather” by Glidden from Home Depot. (I took a picture of the paint can so you can save it and take to your Home Depot for reference and an exact match)
The reason I did 2 twin beds in his room was because these are the headboards we had in our last house, where he shared a room with his brother (If you want to do a larger bed I linked some options below.) I just love these headboards and I’m not ready to part with them. Plus this will work great for when he has friends stay the night we have an extra bed.
I also added curtains over the small window in the corner. I feel like curtains always make a room feel more put together and complete.
For bedding, I love the color of the quilted bedding at the end of his bed but they only came in queen size. So I just have them folded up for a cozy layered look, but they also absolutely could be used for extra warmth if needed. ( I have the bedding linked below)
