Simple DIY Star Cake Toppers

Im obsessed with stars and these glittery star cake toppers are an easy go-to decoration that turns any simple cake into an instant celebration.

Plus these star cake toppers are so simple to make! I happen to have some silver cardboard stars with a sticky on the back, already in my craft supplies. You could find these most likely at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joannes or any craft store (I will link a few online options below.) Or cut out some cardboard stars and paint them would work too!
I added some clear glue and glitter to my stars and used the sticky to attach them to my wooden dowels. (You could add hot glue if your stars don’t have a sticky on the back.) These were so simple to make and it turned a simple cake into something magical!
