30 Days to Healthy Living Challenge
Starting April first I am doing the 30 days to Healthy Living reset. This is a program to help you create healthy habits and turn them into a healthy lifestyle. Yes we still eat on the 30 day reset program— depending on your goals I will map out a flexible daily schedule for you and you can adjust it to your own life and needs.
My goal is weight loss, leaning out and gaining muscle so I'm replacing 2 meals a day with our essential meal shakes and having 2 high protein snacks in between as necessary + focusing on lots of protein then ending the day with a nutrient dense meal. Really eliminating the random snacking.
If you are struggling with bloating + skin issues + mood swings + low energy + inflammation + weight + digestion + poor sleep. These are all signs your gut could use some love.
30 Day Reset Rules
No gluten
No processed foods
No alcohol
No sugar (except natural sweeteners like honey)
Electrolytes, water, bone broth, cleantox tea
Animal based meals (proteins, berries, healthy fats)
Arbonne's supplements// cleantox, protein, greens and fizz
Workout 3-5x a week + 8- 10k daily steps (modify for cycles & rest days)
Daily walk
7-8 hours of sleep
Walk 30 Minutes
My mornings I get dressed in my workout clothes (that I lay out the night before) fill my water bottle and get on my walking pad for 30 minutes.
This gets my energy up for the day and half my steps in for my goal of 8k-10k steps a day (I love my Garmin watch watch for this). I do a brisk walk at about 2.5 - 3.5 enough to get me going but also low intensity enough that I can be planning out my meals Garminon my phone, planning my day, responding to messages etc.
4-5 days a week Im also doing weight training workouts and a couple days a week Im adding in runs. (Im not doing as many runs at the moment now that my half marathon is over)
Eat Breakfast
After my workout I have my essential meal protein shake within the first 20mins and then about an hour later I have a high protein snack.
Work Schedule
Taking the time in the morning for me to work out and start my day off with something for me, means I’m not sitting down to work until about 10:00am and Im working all day until 3:30 when my husband gets home. I also work in the little pockets of my evening while waiting in the car for kids at events/practice or sometimes after everyone is in bed depending on the day. I try to take weekends off work to spend with family though I do still capture moments and share a lot on my IG @homeofuandme in stories. And I do have weekends where I have to catch up, have projects Im working on or business questions I have to get to. I have goals and I don’t mind a little sacrifice here and there. My family are so proud and supportive of me, Im so grateful. Plus my job makes it flexible for me to be with them 24/7 unlike when I had to go into work in the past and had a strict schedule.
My weekday mornings will look like:
5:00am – 5:30am – wake up make my detox tea, bible/journal
5:30 – 6am Put on workout clothes and walking pad for 30 mins
6:00am - 7am Make school lunch and get ready for the day
7:00am – out the door for school
7:05 – 7:30 start a load of laundry quick pick up of anything around the house
7:30 – 8:30 – Workout at the gym or home gym Monday - Friday
8:45 – 10:00am – quick shower finish getting ready for the day and make my protein shake.
I get a lot of things ready the night before to help my mornings run smoother, lay out my workout clothes, meal prep and put everything in the school lunch that doesn’t need refrigerated and clean the kitchen the night before.
Here is another example of a sample day, keep in mind everyones day runs differently and these are not restrictions. Do what works best for you and your needs.
