HALLOWEEN PARTY

Our not-so-spooky Tween Halloween Party filled with fun, laughter, and delicious treats! With caramel apples, festive games, and a fun DIY balloon arch, this party was a hit! Here are some pictures from our Halloween party and tips for creating your own fun get together.

1. DIY Balloon Arch

Create a whimsical balloon arch using colors to match your party theme. I went with more neutral colors this year. Using a balloon arch kit from Bashify the name of the kit is "Champagne Shower”  It comes with everything you need, including balloons, balloon wire, and command hooks for installation. The box also included instructions for assembling the garland, and a link to a tutorial video! I would recommend getting this electric balloon pump, to blow up your balloons. I have had it for several years and love it.

For a personal touch and to make it more Halloween-themed I also added bats to the arch for extra charm!

2. Festive Table Settings

I kept it simple and used some natural wheat in one of my favorite flutted metal planters for a center piece. Along with candle sticks and our skeleton Charcuterie board. You could also add mini pumpkins or gourds across the table as charming centerpiece

I love cute tableware and lucky I had several things on hand because the original things I ordered didn’t arrive in time because of  Hurricane Milton delaying the mail here in Florida.

Use Halloween-themed plates, cups, and napkins we like friendly ghosts, pumpkins, skeletons or bats. Or you can never go wrong with just black and white.

FOR FOOD:

1. Apple Cider Station

Serve  apple cider in a cute pumpkin dispenser. Add apples and cinnamon sticks for extra flavor and a festive touch.

2. Caramel Apples I made them fun with eyes on them for the kids and shared a tutorial HERE.  I found the cute little wooden sticks in the Hobby Lobby Christmas section that I added for the stem.

You could also set up a DIY caramel apple station where guests can dip their apples and add toppings like sprinkles, crushed cookies, candy or nuts.

3. Skeleton Charcuterie Board I arranged a variety of snacks (cheese, crackers, fruit, meat and cookies) around our skeleton. Then filled in any little open spaces with blackberries.

4. Smore’s Board, with the usual graham crackers marshmallows and Hersheys but then for Halloween we also had to pumpkin shaped Reese’s.

FOR GAMES:

They played Halloween Bingo and used small candies as markers.

Also I had small treats for bingo winners to keep the excitement going!

The kids bobbed for Apples, this is just classic Fun: We have been doing this at our parties for years it gets everyone laughing.  I used this galvanized bucket filled with water and apples. They had to put their hands behind their back and try to grab the apples with their mouth.

We did the Donut on a String Game, where you, hang donuts from a string. And the challenge is to eat them hands-free. It’s messy, fun, and guaranteed to create giggles!

With sweet treats, simple decor, and fun games, your Tween Halloween Party will be a success! Embrace the coziness and excitement of the season and remember its about having fun and creating lasting memories with friends. Happy Halloween!
