Hello July

For many of us, I feel like July is the official kick off for summer. Time to soak up the summer sun, check off our “Summer bucket list” and of course the 4th of July Celebrations!

Every year on the Fourth we go over to my Aunt & Uncles lake house for a festive brunch out on the lawn with family. All the cousins run around in the yard playing & we stuff our faces with way too many carbs.

We usually wait until evening to light off a few fireworks that the kids just HAD to get from the firework stands. (One Year we did light a few off in the morning at brunch and caught my Aunt & Uncles grass on fire so we learned that lesson oops)

This year I think we are going to brave the crowds and go see a firework show that the city puts on over the water. What are your plans for the Fourth? Do you dress up in red white and blue?
