Valentine’s Day Party

February 10, 2019

A party that involves lots of pink, yes please! I had so much fun planning this Valentines Party for Sydnie. We started off with decorating cookies and eating cupcakes. I bought the white frosted cupcakes at the grocery store and just added heart gummies on them (quick inexpensive way to turn simple cupcakes into any party theme you want) I did bake the cookies myself for all the girls but instead of making the frosting, I just ended up buying it. I saw two shades of pretty pink at the grocery store (I think they were Pillsbury brand) and I thought well that’s easy! I grabbed those and one vanilla and all different types of sprinkles for them to decorate with.

I used mason jars for cups and filled them with pink lemonade. The girls absolutely loved the “love” straws. I happened to have found the straws while in line to checkout at Marshals and thought they were too cute! I also had a hot chocolate bar with heart marshmallows for anyone who wanted it, because it ended up being a snow day, and who doesn’t love hot chocolate on a snow day!

After the girls all finished eating cupcakes and decorating their cookies. I cleared the table and brought out the craft supplies to make Valentines. They all had so much fun, but note to self for next year, do not buy glitter! I will be cleaning that up for days lol.

These are the memories that will last a lifetime. Happy Valentines Day!
