Sydnie’s 7th Birthday Mermaid Party

Only one more day in the month of April so I better hurry and get these party details posted on the blog!
Sydnie turned Seven this month and as fast as this month has gone. That’s how fast I feel this entire year went. I can’t believe she is already Seven!
This Mermaid theme may have been my favorite party yet. So many fun details and colors. And what little girl doesn’t love mermaids these days. I created a centerpiece down the middle of the table with nautical fishing net, coral, shells with pink gum-balls as the pearls, and flowers. I also sprinkled some confetti because you can’t have a party without confetti!
I was extremely happy and impressed by these cookies I ordered from Frost Your Cookie They matched my party colors perfectly and made exactly what I was imagining!
One of the Mermaid themed snacks I came up with was this Kettle corn, candy and gold fish mixture. And to create the pretty mint drinks I mixed lemonade with a little blue fruit punch. The glass jars were starbucks drinks that I bought and emptied, scrubbed the label off of and tied twine around the top.
Her Mermaid outfit was so incredible. I found it on Instagram from a handmade shop Carken Design and instantly loved it. When we received it in the mail, it was so much more then I could have ever asked for. The quality is amazing, it fit her so well and Sydnie felt so special! I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this shop.
Darling you are exactly the little girl I always dreamt of. God has big plans for you and I love watching you grow.
