HOLIDAYS & PARTIES

Turkey Cookie Treats

Hi friends, I received so many messages on Instagram@homeofuandme asking what I used to make these Turkey cookies. So I thought I would just write a blog post, so that you can refer back to the idea year after year!

They are so simple, the most difficult part is just moving fast enough so that your white chocolate doesn’t harden before you put them all together.

TIP: Just melt a little white chocolate as you go not the entire bag.

Ok so first, melt your chocolates (exact ones I used linked below) I melt mine in a bowl in the microwave and stir until smooth.

Then spread the white chocolate on half of the cookies on both sides of your Oreo (exact cookies I used linked below) Then quickly place 3 pretzels on the back side, as shown in picture. Then on the top add candy eyes, a nose and sprinkles and repeat to make all your Turkey cookies before your chocolate hardens. Once it hardens everything will stay in place and you can package them up all up as cute little teacher, neighbor, friend or family gifts. Or just eat and enjoy!

We packaged them up in cute little pink boxes that I found at Joanne Fabrics, in the baking section, and tied with ribbon. The Turkey tags are Meri Meri brand that I found at Homegoods.

I LINKED EVERYTHING I COULD HERE:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

XO – Jamie
