THIS YEARS DIY ADVENT CALENDAR

WHAT YOU NEED:
From Hobby Lobby, I grabbed this cardboard advent calendar, 5 packs of wooden
numbers and acrylic
paint. ( photos of the paint below) they are Folk Art “Ivory white” , Folk Art “Baby Pink” , Crafter Collection “Princess Pink” ,Crafter Collection “Pink” and Crafter Collection “Christmas Red”

*Don’t forget the paint brushes & a hot glue gun.

NOW TO DECORATE IT:
To decorate it, I only bought the little candy canes (from Hobby Lobby) otherwise I used old Christmas craft things I already had. Bottle brush tree, ribbon, clothes pins, wreaths etc. Plus I cut out and glued on little cute things I found on some old Christmas cards.

WHAT I PUT INSIDE:
I added little hand written notes in the boxes. Each day with clues on them telling where to go find a fun Christmas themed surprise and a bible verse. Every other day I
put a small piece of candy.
